My Photos cannot be loaded into the software or the Online EditorUpdated 2 months ago

There are several reasons why you cannot drag and drop images into the software:

1. Permissions

The software needs access to your data. During installation, it will automatically ask you for the necessary permissions. Simply accept them and the transfer should proceed without any problems.

Otherwise, especially for MacOS users, it is possible that not all permissions are always granted automatically. Here is where you can check if the software has all the necessary permissions: MacOS permissions

2. Format:

If you work with a Windows computer and take photos with an iPhone, your photos may be saved in HEIC format. Windows, and therefore our software, will not be able to read your Photos. It is best to change the settings on your iPhone so that the Photos are saved as JPG. This is how it works:

  1. Open the settings on your iPhone.

  2. Go to the camera app and tap on Formats.

  3. In the Camera recording menu item, select Maximum compatibility.

  4. Your iPhone now shoots Photos in JPG.

Your Photos are already in the "wrong" format (HEIC) on your computer?  No problem! Here's how to convert your Photos to JPG:

  1. Search for a secure and free converter

  2. Convert your Photos and save them again

  3. You can start designing your photo product right away!
