What to use? Online Editor, Bookfactory Software or PDF-to-BookUpdated 14 hours ago

The three main tools offered by Bookfactory are the online editor, the Bookfactory design software and PDF-to-Book.

All tools are tailored to individual needs. Here are the advantages and disadvantages of each option:

Online Editor

  • Quick and easy photo book creation
  • No download and therefore no storage required
  • You can also work with the editor on your mobile phone or tablet
  • You can continue working on your projects on any device

But:

  • You have a large selection of beautiful design templates to choose from, free of charge!
  • You need a customer account to save your projects
  • Compared to the software, there are fewer products and design options

Bookfactory design software

  • Largest selection of products
  • Wide range of design options
  • No login required
  • Projects are stored locally on your device, so you can save them indefinitely and reorder them
  • You can also send the .bookfactory files and anyone with the software can open your project and see your book settings
  • You can work offline; you only need the internet to place your order

However

  • You have to download it
  • If you have never worked with graphics software before, it may seem a little complex at first

PDF-to-Book

  • You are a design professional and are just looking for an option to have your book printed
  • Minimum order quantity = 1
  • Large selection of papers and binding types

However:

  • You need to already be somewhat familiar with printing
