If the Bookfactory design software is forced to close by the user during a loading or saving process, the project structure may be damaged in the process. In such a case, please contact customer service so that we can analyse your project and, in the best case, reconstruct it.

As of December 2025, Mac users in particular may experience problems with the project.

In such cases, it may help to

1. Disable automatic saving
2. Move the Bookfactory project to the ‘Downloads’ folder
